Lotus-Temple-Delhi

Lotus Temple Known as bahai house of worship situated in New Delhi which was completed in 1986 and opened for Public in December 1986. The Temple has won Many architecturial awards from all over the world. Lotus Temple is open for all religion like other Bahai House of Worships. According to Bahai law any person can take worship with other religion person get together at one place. Since its inauguration to public worship in December 1986, the Bahai House of Worship in Delhi has  attracted more than 50 million visitors, making it one of the most visited buildings in the world.

Jantar-Mantar-Delhi-Wallpaper

The Jantar Mantar is located in the capital of India of New Delhi which consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments. Building is one of five built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur, from 1724, as he was given by Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah the task of revising the calendar and astronomical tables. There is a plaque fixed on one of the structures in the Jantar Mantar observatory in New Delhi that was placed there in 1910 mistakenly dating the construction of the complex to the year 1710. Initial purpose of the observatory was to determine astronomical tables, and to predict the times and movements of the sun, moon and planets. Some of these purposes nowadays would be classified as astronomy. Jantar mantar was Completed in 1724.

Samrat Yantra: The Samrat Yantra, is a big triangle that is basically an equal hour sundial. Samrat Yatra is 70 feet high, 114 feet long at the base, and 10 feet thick. It has a 128-foot-long (39 m) hypotenuse that is parallel to the Earth's axis and points toward the North Pole. On either side of the triangle is a quadrant with graduations indicating hours, minutes, and seconds. 
Jayaprakash Yantra: The Jayaprakash consists of hollowed out hemispheres with markings on their concave surfaces. Crosswires were stretched between points on their rim. From inside the Ram, an observer could align the position of a star with various markings or a window's edge.
Misra Yantra: The Misra Yantra was designed as a tool to determine the shortest and longest days of the year. Mishra yatra can also be used to indicate the exact moment of noon in various cities and locations regardless of their distance from Delhi – quite remarkable.

About Purana Quila: Purana Qila (Old Fort) is one of the oldest and famous forts in Delhi. Its current form was built by Sher Shah Suri, the founder of the Sur Empire. In the 1970s, the ramparts of Purana Qila were first used as a backdrop for theatre, when National School of Drama make three films , Tughlaq, Andha Yug and Sultan Razia, directed by Ebrahim Alkazi.  Now a days, it is the venue of a daily sound and light presentation after sunset, on the history of the "Seven Cities of Delhi", from Indraprastha through New Delhi.

About Red Fort: The Red Fort, mostly known as Lal Qila is a 17th-century fort made by Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan in Old Delhi that served as the residence of the Mughal Emperors. Design is commonly goes to architect Ustad Ahmad. Red fort was the palace for Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's new capital, Shahjahanabad, the seventh city in the Delhi site. Shah Jahan moved his capital here from Agra in a move designed to bring prestige to his reign, and to provide ample opportunity to apply his ambitious building schemes and interests. It served as the capital of the Mughals until 1857, when Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar was exiled by the British Indian government.

Amber Fort-Jaipur-Wallpapers-download

  Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amer which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur.The construction of the Amber Fort began in the year 1592 A.D. and was started by Man Singh I. The exterior of the forts not in the least like its interiors. The outside is very imposing and rugged looking wheres the inside is a comforting and warm interior which is influenced by both Hindu and Muslim style of ornamentation.

  Inside the famous Ji Mandir is the world renowned Sheesh Mahal a hall full of mirrors. The walls and the ceiling of the mahal are covered with a beautiful array of mirrors which reflect any streak of light so as to illuminate the entire room. The mirror pieces were specially imported from Belgium duriing that period.

The Fort offers magnificent views of the surrounding area. The fort is a mix of Mughal and rajput architecture and is built in red stone and while marble.

  Ganesh Pol is a fine portal covered with paintings. It was built by Sawai Man Singh. This gateway provides access to the inner court in which the principal apartment of the king are situated and where in everything from the roof is to be seen in marble. The top of the gateway is mounted by a pavilion called Sohag mandir through whose latticed windows the royal ladies watched ceremonial functions held in the Diwan-I-Am.

Jaigarh-Fort-Wallpapers

Jaigarh Fort is situated on the Aravalli range near Amber Fort and the Maota Lake, near Amber in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The fort was built by Jai Singh II in 1726 to protect the Amber Fort and its palace complex and was named after him. The fort looks similar in structural design to the Amber Fort.  It has a length of 3 kilometres along the north–south direction and a width of 1 kilometre. The fort features a cannon named "Jaivana", which was manufactured in the fort precincts and was then the world's largest cannon on wheels.
